Job Summary:

The Technical Services System Coordinator oversees the deployment, update and migration of the custom server systems and coordinates information with customers, system architects and other internal contacts.  The System Coordinator is the technical point of contact during server system installations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and update work orders, equipment orders and build of material
  • Coordinate with customers and services technicians the install of server systems
  • Schedule and ensure the server systems production delays are mitigated
  • Communicate with customers to obtain and validate technical information
  • Ensure server systems configurations are compliant
  • Create and update technical documentation
  • Coordinate with customers and providers internet lines installs
  • Attend meetings and communicate any relevant information to customers and internal contacts
  • Review completed work orders and look for ways to improve the quality of work
  • Update equipment and build of material lists
  • Research and assist the purchase team on replacement products when standard products become obsolete or non-available
  • Manage software licensing
  • Analyze and optimize software manufacturers service agreements and licensing models
  • Document new technologies and provide training to service technicians
  • Assist technicians during installs and troubleshooting
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by manager

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science or other relevant area or technical degree and relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience server systems’ hardware and software
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with networking hardware and software
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with system virtualization
  • Previous experience with MS Windows Servers (2008R2, 2016, 2019), MS SL Server (2008R2, 2017, 2019), HP Proliant products, MS SPLA licensing, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Must be able to communicate at a high level in French and English
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel throughout Canada and the US, sometimes for several days, weeks
  • Must be able to be licensed by various gaming boards
