Senior Manager, PMO

Reports To: Chief Product Officer (CPO)
Location: Drummondville


Under the supervision of the CPO, the Sr Manager, PMO is responsible for managing the progress of the organization’s projects by overseeing, supporting and developing the team of Project Managers.  You will also be responsible for promoting best practices in project planning, monitoring and execution, to help maximize the department’s contribution to Bluberi’s development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Plans, defines, implements and monitors the strategic projects for the team
  • Supports the Vice President – R&D in managing the project portfolio:
    • Maintains the consistency of projects within the Company’s objectives
    • Manages the workload capacity to carry out projects
  • Leads the development of project management methodologies and skillsets
  • Ensures that the team has all the necessary tools and skills to carry out the projects, considering deadlines, quality and costs
  • Conducts project performance reviews at mid point and completion of the project or as necessary
  • Meets with internal clients to validate the team’s response to their needs and priorities
  • Participates in team development through meetings and coaching
  • Acts as a facilitator in problem solving
  • Balances the team’s needs and the project’s requirements and deadlines against technical issues
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by manager


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or relevant experience in lieu
  • Six to eight years of experience relevant to the job duties
  • Thorough knowledge of best project management practices
  • Prior supervision experience within a project management environment
  • Advanced University education in Project Management, preferred
  • Membership in good standing with a professional association, preferred
  • Good knowledge and comfort in using various project management software tools
  • Understanding of the electric and intelligent transportation industry, preferred
  • Ability to influence and contribute to the implementation of the strategic and operational vision of Bluberi
  • Able to analyze, synthesize and make decisions based on facts
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus


  • Ability to travel to Montreal and surrounding areas to visit casinos
  • Ability to travel to the United States to attend and participate in conferences and other gaming events
