Job Summary:

The Unity GDK Developer III develops and supports the Unity game development framework and tools to simplify and accelerate the work of the various teams involved in game development.


Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzes studio requests to ensure efficient and reusable solutions;
  • Programs, modifies, maintains and tests the game development framework code according to departmental priorities;
  • Documents the code and processes so that game developers can easily use the framework’s features;
  • Provides support to game developers when they have questions, bugs or requests;
  • Tracks and executes fixes, change requests and tasks according to the workflow;
  • Recommends improvements to the development framework code, structure and processes;
  • Provides estimates for tasks and delivers on a timely basis;
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by manager.


  • College or University degree in Software Development or related area or relevant experience in lieu;
  • 5 years or more of experience in C# programming;
  • Experience in video game development using Unity;
  • Is autonomous and shows initiative;
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to multitask;
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to locate root causes;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;
  • Ability to travel to Drummondville office, Montreal and the United States.
