Job Summary: 

The Game Software Developer joins each element of a game: graphics; animation; audio and mathematic formulas, to deliver high quality, captivating and performing games 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:   

  • Participate in the development of games assigned to the team, from project ideation and integration of new mechanics to deployment in casinos 
  • Program, support, integrate, document and validate the game code using the game development platform 
  • Implement game changes as appropriate 
  • Trouble-shoot moderate to complex issues  
  • Act as a technical reference for the game development team 
  • As directed by the Team Lead, assist the game engine team on simple issues in the game development kit. 
  • Research technical issues and share findings with the team 
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by manager 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in lieu  
  • 5-7 years programming experience, preferably in video game development  
  • Demonstrated knowledge C# and Unity 3D 
  • Basic knowledge in C and C++. 
  • Experience with the Visual Studio development environment 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SVN and GIT version control tools 
  • Ability to communicate in English highly desired  
  • Demonstrated ability to make key decisions  
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to travel to Drummondville office, Montreal and internationally as required

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
