Job Summary:

The Program Manager – Games (PMO III) reports to the PMO Director and is the main source of information between the product team and the various game development managers and QA. He or she plays a crucial role in production planning and scheduling, and in facilitating game development projects, from initiative to publication of each game in the annual program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepares and manages the overall project schedule and ensures gate review processes between all cross-functional stakeholders;
  • Facilitates the flow of information among Executive and team members on assigned projects;
  • Reports regularly on the progress of projects and monitors their execution to ensure they respect the approved plan and schedule;
  • Ensures the management of documentation related to the projects;
  • Controls overview of program and communicates proactively all information to stakeholders;
  • Participates in removing project barriers and roadblocks;
  • Develops, tracks and reports on project progress, resource capabilities, schedules and project
    metrics;
  • Manages proactive risk and mitigation;
  • Helps define priorities and supports team managers in their role;
  • Collaborates in the improvement of project management procedures, ensures their application, evaluates them and proposes modifications as needed;
  • Follows up on the project program and helps facilitating its completion and proper delivery of the product;
  • Works on other projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years or more of experience in project management or other related field;
  • Combination of experience and relevant education in business administration or other related field;
  • Thirst for learning / curiosity for how things work;
  • Great leadership skills;
  • Very good knowledge of project management software (Easy Redmine or other);
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Very good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Very good communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English;
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Good problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies;
  • Extensive professional or personal experience in video game and/or casino game development, preferred;
  • Extensive experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a technology field;
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Depending on the position, may have to travel locally, nationally or internationally.
