Bluberi finished Q1 of 2026 with a much-appreciated recognition! Devils Lock Slice n’ Dice won “Most Innovative Land-Based Game” at the EKG Slot Awards. 

Bluberi’s constant commitment to innovation and iteration has led us to our landmark product release of 2025, Devil’s Lock Slice ‘n Dice on the Beacon+ Lighthouse.

The innovative Waterline Feature incorporated a 6th reel, positioned below the main reel set, which allowed us to add new game elements, including a first-to-market cash ball activator, while giving the theme a distinctive look that would signal to players this was a new Devil’s Lock theme, and it’s worth exploring.  

The namesake Slice ‘n Dice feature is activated by landing a shark symbol when the Devil and at least one cash ball are active above the shark. Functioning like a mini hold & spin, the initial 2×2 grid can be sliced up to a 5×5 grid. Landing blackouts within the grid results in the reel position being split into larger matrices. If players can blackout the 5×5, they are awarded the Major jackpot. This feature can occur multiple times on a single spin, resulting in a satisfying end screen and great credit rollup.

The combination of Devil’s Lock Slice ‘n Dice and Beacon+ Lighthouse has been a clear winner for Bluberi with top performance and positive player feedback. The game content and hardware innovations are powerful separately, but the package of both has created a special banking solution for Bluberi and players alike.

Distraction Action

The nature of modern slot machines relies on many losing spins to generate big wins for players. Distraction Action keeps players engaged in the chase with non-paying game features and graphical animations.
